Scanner or Planner?

March 24, 2006

This post over at the [non] billable hour fits in nicely with my ‘generalist’ thread.

“If you’re a Scanner, you are a very special kind of thinker. Unlike those people who seem to find and be satisfied with one area of interest, you’re genetically wired to be interested in many things.”

I am too.

David Lee Roth needs a podcast!

March 23, 2006

Cameron’s right - David Lee Roth needs a podcast! Anyone who doubts the credentials of the long-haired, spandex wearing rock star–and lets face it many would–should check out his interview with Henry Rollings, which was released as a podcast series here.

DLR is clearly an intelligent and insightful guy that is energetic and passionate about what he does.  And he can certainly hold his own when it comes to interviewing guests.  Dave, take Cam up on his offer dude!  Seriously.

Just uploaded some pics from our trip. These are from Mt. Hotham. Will upload more later when my upload limit allows.

And another quote from my favorite author (seems appropriate!):

The only Zen you can find on the tops of mountains is the Zen you bring up there.

Back in the blogosphere

March 22, 2006

Well, I’m back after a much needed break. I spent a relaxing week camping in Bright with wifekidsanddog.com and am rejuvinated–and to borrow a pun–”feeling a bit brighter”.  Busy catching up with all the news, emails etc.
